What really drives a group and the people in it? In this session, we’ll break down what makes groups tick: who takes charge, who follows, and why. Through real-life stories from politics, army, and everyday communities, we’ll explore how personal goals, power dynamics, and relationships shape the group vibe and how to spot the movers and shakers behind the scenes. 

Learn about the inner world of writing Sofer Stam (Torah, Tefillin, Mezuzah) and how to scribe the Hebrew letters according to the ancient tradition.

Join us for "Jewish Name Alchemy," a fun and creative workshop where you'll explore the magic behind your name and what it means to you. Dive into the stories and qualities your name carries, and bring it to life through art. No art skills needed—just imagination!

This session explores the central Jewish value of tzedakah—not just as charity, but as a deep moral responsibility to support our community. Together, we’ll unpack why giving is so foundational to Jewish life, and reflect on what it truly means to live out our values in practice.

We’ll also gently challenge a common tension: Why is maaser (the obligation to give a tenth of our income) often overlooked, while Shabbat and kashrut are so carefully observed? Through an open and respectful conversation, we’ll consider how tzedakah can—and should—be a non-negotiable part of a committed Jewish lifestyle. This isn’t about guilt or preaching; it’s about rethinking our priorities and discovering the power we have to make a real difference.
