About me
Dan Sztrajt is the first alumnus to serve as Principal of Mount Scopus Memorial College, bringing a deep personal connection and decades of experience to the role. A passionate advocate for community and education, Dan served as a Councillor and Deputy Mayor for the City of Glen Eira, and in 2020 was elected Chair of Education on the Board of Zionism Victoria. Over the past 24 years, Dan has held leadership and teaching roles in Jewish educational institutions across Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. His long standing dedication to community service began in 1997 and was recognised in 2010 with the Jewish Community Council of Victoria’s Outstanding Community Service Award. Outside of his professional commitments, Dan is a proud father of three, a devoted dog owner, and an unapologetic connoisseur of dad jokes.
