Gabi Grabin is an Israeli educator and co-founder of Mechinat Kol Ami, a leadership academy dedicated to strengthening connections between Jewish youth worldwide and Israeli society. He is also a Major in the IDF Reserves, serving as a company commander in Sayeret Carmeli. Since October 7th, his unit has completed its fifth round of reserve duty, totalling over 330 days of active service across all fronts, including the northern border, Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. Gabi has recently come on shlichut to Australia with his wife, Sara—who serves as the Jewish Agency’s representative to Australia and New Zealand—and their three daughters. He recently started working as the Director of Next Gen at the Zionist Federation of Australia (ZFA), focusing on young adult engagement and leadership development. In addition to that Gabi is part of the mount Scopus memorial college staff as a co-curricular Jewish educator
