Rabbi Justice Marcus Solomon is the first Orthodox rabbi to serve as a Supreme Court Justice in Australia. He has studied Jewish thought at Yeshivot in Australia, Israel, and at “770” in New York under the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson. Passionate about education, Rabbi Solomon also taught and held leadership positions at Perth’s Jewish day school, the Carmel School and established the Beit Midrash of WA and the Perth Yeshiva. He studied law and practiced in litigation and arbitration before being appointed to the Supreme Court in 2021. He maintains his position as the rabbi of Mizrachi in Perth.
