Sara is the former Director of Professional Development at The Jewish Agency’s Adelson Shlichut Institute, where she led training and ongoing development for Israeli emissaries (Shlichim) worldwide. She previously coordinated the Summer Camp Shlichut Program, strengthening partnerships with Camp Ramah and other Orthodox camps. Before her time at the Agency, Sara worked with at-risk youth through the Jerusalem municipality and “Yedidim,” managing a national leadership program for at-risk girls, including groups in Arab and Bedouin communities. She also served as a Bat Sherut at Mt. Scopus Memorial College and a Shlicha in Perth. Sara holds an M.A. in Jewish Education and Social Entrepreneurship from Hebrew University, a B.A. in Social Work from Bar-Ilan University, and a certificate in Group Dynamics from David Yalin College. She lives in Kibbutz Kfar Etzion with her husband Gabi, and their three children. She is the current Jewish Agency representative for Australia and New Zealand.
